What I’m watching Right Now…and think you should be too
Sons of Anarchy (FX)
Season 4 has brought us back to Charming with an amazing story-line and wonderful power struggle. Although the action brings many in, the writing and delicate character development is the true gem in this show.
American Horror Story (FX)
This is the best new show on TV. Demented, gory, exciting and fun. The cast features Denis O’Hare and Jessica Lange. Need I say more?
The Walking Dead (AMC)
AMC offers some of the best available. I am so glad we get a full season of walkers this year. I have been pleased to get to know more about the characters and meet new survivors.
Boardwalk Empire (HBO)
I’m surprised more people aren’t watching Nucky, Jimmy and their crews. The cinematography alone makes this a standout. There are a LOT of characters and their stories can be hard to follow at times, but the over all main story is incredible. It is very violent, so if that bothers you, you may not like it. Michael K. Williams is on the show and I still call him Omar even though his character is Chalky White (ironic some).
Dexter (SHOW)
My Sundays are crowded. Dexter is like an old pair of shoes that I will never get rid of. This season is a bright spot after the Lumen mess. I assume some may question the spiritual turn it has taken but I find it fascinating and timely given the age of Dexter’s son and changes in their lives.
Project Accessory was about making shoes and accessories inspired by Swarovski crystals. I think I stopped breathing for a full minute.
It was interesting to see how shoes are actually made, especially by amateurs. Most were hideous, a few were good. Overall I was impressed.
The Swarovski store was amazing and I could only dream to have 10 minutes and free reign to grab whatever I wanted to inspire my art and creation.
Excited to see where this show goes next.
Fox Sports commentators also seem to have a sportsboner for Ian Kinsler.
They’re finally showing some good taste.
